As you are aware, the City of Chicago is preparing to host the upcoming NATO summit on May 20-21, 2012. The summit is being held at McCormick Place. Some parents have asked whether there will be any impact to Chicago Public Schools and if there were any special precautions that were being taken by Chicago Public Schools. Based on discussions with the NATO Summit organizers, the CTA and the Chicago Police Department, other than some possible traffic delays, we are not anticipating any significant issues to our school's daily operations.

This past Friday night the Ogden girls track team competed in the state qualifying meet. In the biggest meet of the year, the girls ran the best they have all year.
