  • From the Public Building Commision - The Ogden International Elementary School of Chicago's replacement building renderings are here.
  • The Ogden International School of Chicago is pleased to offer Tuition-Based Preschool starting in the fall of 2009. Please refer to the CPS website for information and download the application here. Children must be at least three years of age, but not yet five on or before September 1st of the current school year.  Students must be toilet-trained and reside within the City of Chicago, but do not have to reside in the Ogden attendance boundaries to register, however students at the age of five (5) will have to meet our enrollment requirements, including our neighborhood residency requirement, when they enroll for kindergarten.  The cost of the program is $240.00 per week for 38 weeks.  Two weeks of tuition ($480.00) needs to be submitted with the application no later than July 17th.  Checks should be made payable to Chicago Public Schools – Tuition Pre-School.  After the initial two-week payment, future payments can be made weekly by check or on-line.  A minimum of twenty (20) students is needed for the program to operate.  If we do not meet the minimum of 20 students, then checks will be returned. 
  • There are three 2009-2010 School Bus Service Survey/Applications. This one is Mr. Staral's letter with the survey.. and this one, CPS's official form for bus service.
  • It is very important that your contact information (address, telephone number, and email) is updated as information will also be disseminated during the summer as all of the issues for Ogden and many other schools throughout the city fall into place.

  • We have posted the Notice of Student Record Retention and Disposal. You may obtain the document either in English or in Spanish.

Daily Events and Calendar

 

  • The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 8th.
  • Due to construction, expansion, and relocation, the Main Office at 24 West Walton is now closed and will reopen at 1443 North Ogden Avenue on Wednesday, September 2nd.  We will have limited access to the school's telephone system this summer as we will not have a permanent office until late August.  Please consult this website for updated information as so many changes and transitions are happening at The Ogden International School of Chicago. The Ogden International School

Read about the Ogden's vision for creating a Pre-K-12 school. On October 22nd, the Chicago Board of Education approved the Ogden International High School (OIHS) as part of The Ogden School of Chicago (joining Ogden Elementary and Ogden Middle). All three departments will now be part of The Ogden International School.  OIHS will open in September 2009 at the Ogden West Campus, 1250 West Erie Street.
