BRIAN PFAFF

A native of the state of Missouri, Mr. Pfaff has been a member of the Ogden faculty since 1997. He has experience teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. He was graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1989 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Brian then taught elementary school in Missouri for two years.    

In the summer of 1991, he set off to Darmstadt, Germany to work as a teacher for the Department of Defense Dependents School (DoDDS). After two years in Germany, Brian was transferred to Iwakuni, Japan and completed two school years in the Far East-- teaching for the Department of Defense Dependents School. Returning to the Show-Me State in the summer of 1995, Brian spent the next year in graduate school at the University of Missouri-Columbia and was graduated in 1996 with a Master's Degree in Special Education. He taught special education in Columbia, Missouri for one school year before moving to Chicago in the summer of 1997. During school year 2003-2004, Brian was a recipient of a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Award and spent the year teaching special education in Scotland. Brian's hobbies are traveling, reading, learning the German language and exploring the brilliant city of Chicago.
