This is Mr. Smith’s first year teaching at Ogden elementary school after teaching high school math in Florida for the past three years. He was born in Minneapolis but spent most of his childhood growing up in Iowa. Jared graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa with a degree in elementary/middle level education with a mathematics minor. He is excited to be working with sixth-graders this year and enjoys the fun loving personalities of young children. Jared recently graduated with a Masters in Administration and hopes to one day become a principal. In his free time, Mr. Smith loves to watch sports on T.V., coach, work out and spend time with family and friends.
